We are proud to announce that Danbury, CT has now its Women’s Only Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Program. American Top Team Connecticut will be offering classes designed especially for women.
During the classes the students will feel super at ease learning and practicing with other women only. No men will be inside our school when the classes will be taking place.
We understand that most women feel intimidated stepping inside a dojo with more experienced students or with the majority of male students. That is why we decided to offer classes just for women taught by a woman.
About the classes
The classes will take place every mondays and wednesdays at 12:00pm. You dont have to be in shape to train BJJ, actually Instructor Silvia will lead you through all the first steps to get you in the best shape of your life. Many people ask how, and the answer is really simple: Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is the second ‘sport’ to work the most number of muscle groups at the same time!!!
It is simple like that: you will learn an extremely efficient self defense method getting in shape naturally. BJJ is based on leverages and balance breaking. The idea is that the weaker and smaller can fight the bigger and stronger. You will learn in a very safe way chokes and joint locks that can save your life!
