After putting a lot of thought into it, talking to other Martial Arts School Owners and many of our students and staff, we have decided to close our gym from Friday 03/13 to Sunday 03/22. We will resume our operations on Monday, March 23rd, 2020.
We value the well being and health of our community, in particular our students and their families. We understand that it is our obligation to help everyone be safe in a moment like this.
We know that many of our members and their loved ones have a healthy lifestyle, and we also understand that the Coronavirus is transmittable even if the person has not shown yet any symptoms.
We have adopted many measures to help decrease the chances of contamination inside of our facility, as we have mentioned before: increase in cleaning routines, use of Ozone Generators overnight, etc.
We keep monitoring our local news for cases in the areas where our students live and work as well as all recommendations from healthcare professionals. However, we all know that all styles in which our students train there is a person to person contact, one way or the other increasing the chances of transmission.
Currently, we find that the safest for everyone is to close our school until March 23rd for all activities. We decided to take this precautionary and proactive action for the good of everyone because we care about every single member of our team and community. It is merely the right thing to do now.
We ask you all to be also proactive. Have common sense; be compassionate, understanding that we have to keep our loved ones healthy by taking care of ourselves first. We all love to train, and we do want to keep training for a long, long time.
We will do our part. We will keep monitoring the news, the official websites, and we ask our members to report to us in case of anyone tet positive for the COVID-19.
We are a small family operated business, and this is how Silvia and I support our family and our loved ones. We need your support, and we know that this is a pandemic that will fade out if we all take precautionary measures.
We count on your help. The only way we can keep our doors open is if you keep your memberships current and active.
God Bless you, and thank you. Let’s all do our parts to keep our country running! We all need each other.
