On December 11th, American Top Team Connecticut will host a TECC – Tactical Emergency Casualty Care by Condition Red Inc.
IMPORTANT: The TECC – Tactical Emergency Casualty Care is open for civilians looking to become better prepared in an Emergency Scenario. No Pre-Requisite
This program exceeds the national standard by adding additional hours of training relevant to austere environments medical situations, and problem-solving.
YOU WILL LEAVE PREPARED
Our presentation focuses on civilian prehospital trauma care in non-permissive environments
WELCOME TO ‘HIGH RISK, LOW RESOURCE’ MEDICINE
We ensure your ability to perform competently through high repetition of critical life savings skills.
TECC Recognizes that the specifics of casualty care in the tactical setting will depend on the situation and structures its guidelines to accomplish three primary goals:
1) Treat the Casualty
2) Prevent Additional Casualties
3) Complete The Mission
Developed by NAEMT’s Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) Committee, the TECC program is based on the guidelines from the Committee on Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (Co-TECC) and the Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) program. TECC uses lessons from our military and applies them to the civilian world of tactical medicine.
